武警湖北總隊下屬以下三個支隊，所擔(dān)負的責(zé)任巨大。
1、總隊機關(guān)設(shè)司令部、政治部、后勤部，下轄武漢市、宜昌市、孝感市等22個支隊。并有武警指揮學(xué)院武漢分院、湖北省武警醫(yī)院、武漢市武警干休所等25個直屬單位。
2、總隊為軍級建制。接受中國人民武裝警察部隊和湖北省公安廳的雙重領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。
